The World´s largest Collection of Roses

Sangerhausen has the largest and most important rose collection of the world, the EUROPA-ROSARIUM.
This world-wide unique rose garden was founded in 1903. It features more than 8.300 varieties and species of roses.

The diversity of the Queen of Flowers, from Antiquity to the Modern Age, is presented in a special 12.5-hectare rose park.

An uniquely arranged collection, composed by experts over a period of 100 years, gives scientists, growers and rose fans an insight into the development of the rose.
