Art in the park

In July 2021 it will be that time again: the Europa-Rosarium Sangerhausen will once more become a stage for art.

For the first exhibition "Rose meets Art" from 1 July to 1 August 2020, 25 artists presented over 200 objects on the 13-hectare park grounds. Thousands of art-interested visitors marvelled at the art show and one or the other piece found a new home after the exhibition. 

This year, too, this highlight will not be missing during the rose season and we cordially invite you to join us from 1 July to 7 August 2021.

Large Outdoor Art Exhibition at the Europa-Rosarium Sangerhausen

Every year from 1 July to the 1st Saturday in August, artists from all over Germany present their art in the world's largest collection of roses.

On 13 hectares of parkland there is something new to discover at every "corner". Hundreds of works of art blend harmoniously into the backdrop of a unique rose splendour.

Marvel at sculptures up to 3 m high, made of a wide variety of materials. Steel, marble, stone, glass, wood and even scrap form the basis of the artistic diversity.

For the closing event on the 1st Saturday in August of the open-air exhibition, the art objects are illuminated and staged with sophisticated lighting effects.

And if someone discovers their favourite piece among the artworks, it can be purchased for their own home.
