Schachtkuchenfest - this time without a festival, but with lots of Schachtkuchen!

The numerous lovers of sweet treats had surely marked the date long ago. However, the traditional shaft cake festival planned for 17 May 2020 at Röhrigschacht cannot take place in its usual form this time.

Nevertheless, no one will have to do without the pleasure of the shaft cake.
There will be an off-site cake sale as a substitute, so to speak a Schachtkuchenfest without a festival, but with lots of Schachtkuchen!

From 11.00 a.m. on 17 May 2020, you can have your cake package put together for home at moderate prices from the wide range of products at Röhrigschacht, depending on your taste.

The fruit, cream, quark, poppy seed or crumble cakes are handmade and baked in the tried and tested manner in the bakery of the RosenCafé in the Europa-Rosarium according to recipes handed down from the miners' families.

The sale will take place in compliance with the applicable hygiene and distance rules. We ask visitors to be prepared for this.
