Trained Rosarium guides accompany you through the world's largest and most important rose collection and provide you with interesting information about our Rosarium.

On our guided tours of roses, you will be accompanied by experts from our team, depending on the topic. Advance booking is necessary.

Public guided tours
In our public guided tours during the main rose blossoming season (June/July) you will learn interesting facts about the rose and the history of the largest rose collection in the world. Expert guides explain the specifics of the variety and species we have planted and give valuable tips on how to care for and prune the roses!

Guided tours for children
The Europa-Rosarium offers special guided tours for children. With the puzzle course "Discover the home of the rose elf" they can playfully explore the entire rose garden.

Spring Awakening in the Rosarium public themed tour
Experience the blossoming magic of spring flowers, woody plants and wild and spring roses according to the season.
The spring meadows in the Rosarium offer a colourful variety of scillas, daffodils, crocuses, tulips (wild forms and cultivars) and checkerboard flowers.

Rose scent public themed tour
Besides the beauty of the blossoms, it is above all the diverse scent of roses that fascinates. Whether wild roses, historical or English roses: thousands of blossoms exude their scent in different nuances. Learn more about the production and use of rose essences as well as their importance for perfume production.

History of the development of the garden rose public themed tour

Roses and their rose hips
The fruits of the rose appear in autumn in their bright costume, the rose hips. The different shapes and colours of rose hips are the focus of the guided tour.
